Since Kuvva was launched at The Next Web in April, the platform has quadrupled in size and has already hosted curated collections by 10 visionary artists and has been shared with over 1.6million twitter users. The next phase in the life of Kuvva is the launch of the desktop app. The simplest application to bring all the goodness of Kuvva to your desktop as well as your Twitter profile and to celebrate this we have an awesome set of imagery from respected and eclectic artist Piet Parra.

Kuvvas' ambition is to literally stick to anything that emits backlight. Turning dead space into creative space. It started just 3 months ago with Twitter and from the get-go it was obvious that people wanted more.

"The hot request is; How can I get Kuvva on my desktop" says Thijs, Chief Pencil for Kuvva. "so that's what we created, a dead simple way of pushing all the goodness of Kuvva to your screen." 

Kuvva is blessed by having Dutch artist Parra involved who is best known for his curved post-Pop imagery, highly saturated colours, vibrant hand-drawn letters and worlds inhabited by hybrid, surreal characters. Celebrated by galleries and championed by an underground following from the outset, Parra has quickly become a respected and eclectic artist worldwide. Working across drawing, painting, animation and sculpture, Parra creates an enigmatic and instantly recognisable style that defies easy categorisation. Parra is co-founder of cult apparel label Rockwell Clothing and a member of electronic music collective Le Le.
